Milan: Flashy ≠ Trashy

I think the past year has proved flashy does not neccessarily translate into trashy. 80s fashion (sequins, big shoulders, bold lips) and the rise of fancy footwear (crazy heels + embellished Louboutins). I see for 2010, the "flashy" idea is shifting: bright colors, jumbo sequins, and fancy cut-outs. And what other city could possibly display flashy at its best?
