I think he is finally getting the perfect marriage between traditonal mens suitwear and feminine silhouettes. Overall 1930s but my favorite looks are the more modern shapes.

She makes me want cold weather to stay. And coming from a summer person, that is an extremely bold and rare statement.

Best of Prefall13: Givenchy

I love how Givenchy shoots the lookbook on the streets! It makes ready to wear look relevant and the natural lighting reveals what the clothes would look like when worn in real life. Love how Ricardo Tisci perfects smooth transition between each collection. Prefall sets the mood for more feminine silhouettes and polished looks compared to the military/leather top-to-boot looks from the previous season. Note the two-tone handbag as well.

How can one not laud his designs? But to be honest, the concept is much better than practicality. Numerous times I run to his rack only to find the material too heavy or too delicate...and too expensive. Just by the images you can tell it is probably the case again. But still...museum worthy. Decor on the body.
