Thursday night I stayed up late (meaning midnight) to watch the Womens Figure Skating Olympics. Kim Yuna won GOLD! + she set the world record score. I've always watched figure skating in the winter olympics and gymnastics in the summer olympics. It will be unforgettable that a gal from Korea won a medal in one of my two favorite olympic sports.

I also wanted to post my first Fall 2010 fashion presentation from NY: none other than Marchesa! Kim Yuna needs to wear one of these. (or Georgina Chapman needs to hire her as the main model)

R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

The world of fashion had a very unfortunate loss today, an incredible amount of talent and creative perspective, Alexander McQueen. He is the man responsible for my obsession of everything skull-related (from those silk scarves to the four-finger hardware clutch). He is also the man who kind of received most attention the past Spring season's collection for his showmanship (the prints! those shoes! have you ever seen anything like it??) In memory of him, I decided to look at his past collections and re-appreciate what he left for us:

What are you wearing on V-Day?

Despite the fact that I've never had a boyfriend on Valentine's Day (until this year I guess), and my birthday is on Christmas, V-Day is my favorite holiday. Loved it since I was a child. No particular reason, I just love it!

My bf made a reservation at one of my favorite restaurants for V-Day, and I want to dress up of course. I was planning to get that cream-colored Rodarte for Target bow dress, but I was too lazy to hunt it down. I don't know if I should buy a new one or recycle something in my wardrobe.
